WW/SF Entertainment is a boutique narrative film production company.
WW/SF Entertainment was founded by James Suttles and Jason Winn. With over 45 years of combined experience, the company represents the culmination of a professional journey that began when Suttles and Winn first collaborated on the feature film “Shifting Gears”. Since that pivotal moment, they have been dedicated to creating films together.
WW/SF Entertainment is different. WW/SF sets a new standard of production outside the stale and tired production model of the last century still in use across our industry today…
1) Technology. As technology and distribution models continue to evolve, so too does our production model. WW/SF Entertainment specializes in leveraging advanced technologies to streamline both the administrative and creative aspects of production. This approach ensures higher production quality by maximizing the time allocated to creativity instead of logistics. The company’s core business is producing high-quality feature length content ranging from $1 million to $6 million and series based narrative content within budgets ranging from $1 million to $4 million per episode, accommodating both Union and Non-Union projects.
2) Accountability, ethics and respect. WW/SF goes beyond being a standard production company by emphasizing the importance of work-life balance for its cast and crew, a philosophy that starts with its leadership. Through their production experiences, Suttles and Winn have learned that a well-rested and respected team is more motivated and capable of delivering exceptional films. This motivation directly enhances production quality at every level. Recognizing that filmmaking should be a fun, collaborative, and creative experience, the company prioritizes a supportive and engaging work culture that invites our clients & collaborators into an environment built for success. This ethos not only strengthens the bonds within the team but also inspires unparalleled creativity and commitment, resulting in films that resonate with audiences on time and on budget. But don’t ask us, ask our crew of which we have retained a 70% retention from project to project over the past 13 films we have produced. Unheard of in our industry.
3) Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency. From weekly cost reports to final film tax incentive sale and transfer. Our team vows to uphold the highest level of responsibility when it comes to finances. In fact, we currently hold a continuing record of bringing our last 13 films in on budget or slightly under and that is why we continue to produce projects for repeat clients year after year.
At WW/SF Entertainment, making movies is more than a profession—it’s a passion-driven process built on respect, innovation, and collaboration.
